Miami

Miami is a city that is well known for its latin community, since around 35% of its population comes from latin-american countries. Normally when we think of Miami, the first thing that comes to mind is the beach, parties, and shopping. Fortunately, Miami is more than that. For the last few years, Miami has been going through a “reinassance” period and we have seen it become more of a “real” city, where you can find different cultural activities, sports, arts, etc., offering more things to do and places to visit besides the beach, clubs, and shopping malls.

Some people might say that it is absolutely necessary to rent a car in order to enjoy Miami. This is the case when you stay in the outskirts of Miami, such as Doral or Weston, but as long as you stay in the areas of Brickell, Downtown, Midtown, or Edgewater, or even South Beach, then a car will be just a luxury that might not be necessary. These areas have public transportation such as Metromover, and Trolley which are free to use, plus busses or Ubers that will come out really inexpensive due to the short distances traveled.

Miami, being one of the most visited destinations by Colombians, we get to be hosts to many of our friends and family members and hangout with them in places that normally they would not visit due to not knowing about them. Hence, we created this blog as a tool to be able to share different itineraries that you can follow while visiting the “Magic City” aka Miami. Some of these are:
